IIU and World Bank integrity arm agree to collaborate on activities

The Independent Integrity Unit (IIU) and representatives from the World Bank Integrity Vice Presidency (WB-INT) East Asia and Pacific Investigations agreed to collaborate on capacity building and other activities to share and exchange knowledge during an in-person meeting held at the Green Climate Fund headquarters in Songdo, 25 March.

The engagement was an opportunity to identify potential collaboration and learning exchanges on the proactive approach of GCF in managing integrity risks, particularly on the work of the IIU on Proactive Integrity Reviews (PIRs), Integrity Due Diligence Platform (IDDP), and capabilities on digital forensics and analytics.

Mr. Richelieu Lomax, Regional Team Leader for East Asia and Pacific Investigation and Senior Litigation Specialist, led the delegation.

As an Accredited Entity, the World Bank currently has 11 funded activities projects with the Green Climate Fund, which amounts to USD 283.11 M in Grants at the time of the discussion.
