GCF Integrity Unit to host panel on integrity practices for climate finance at COP25

Madrid, Spain, 08 December – The Green Climate Fund (GCF), Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Adaptation Fund (AF) and the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) will hold a panel discussion on best practices on transparency, accountability and integrity in the delivery of climate finance on 11 December, 15:15 to 16:45 (CET) at the GCF + GEF Pavilion during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25).

Organized by the GCF Independent Integrity Unit (IIU), the panel discussion will revolve on collaborative efforts, successful policies and actions, as well as common standards in integrity practice for climate finance. The panel is comprised of Mr Ibrahim Pam, Head, GCF IIU; Ms Mafalda Duarte, Head, CIF; Mr Mikko Ollikainen, Manager, AF Board Secretariat; and Mr Peter Lallas, Adviser to the CEO/Conflict Resolution Manager, GEF.

The theme of the session is "Scaling-up Climate Action: Best practices and joint actions to strengthen results and integrity across trust funds."
