The IEU, IIU, and the Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM) are entrusted with mandates to bolster the capabilities of accredited entities.

The IEU not only provides advice to the Board based on lessons learned from evaluations but also supports the GCF as a learning institution. Furthermore, it assists the evaluation units of intermediaries and implementing entities within the GCF.

The IIU is dedicated to raising awareness of GCF standards internally and among implementing entities. Its primary focus is to enhance the capacities of entities to effectively prevent, respond to, mitigate, and rectify prohibited practices.

The IRM strengthens the capacities of direct access entities concerning grievance mechanisms and procedures. Its aim is to gain a better understanding of their requirements and identify the most effective approaches to reinforcing their capabilities.

This learning talk outlined the current approach to enhancing the capacity of accredited entities in evaluation, integrity, and redress, respectively, by the IEU, IIU, and IRM.
