Agreeing to cooperate and consult with each other on integrity matters, the Green Climate Fund's Independent Integrity Unit (IIU) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Attijariwafa Bank in the sidelines of the Global Programming Conference in the Republic of Korea, August 20.
The MoU's scope includes information-sharing, undertaking joint investigations and collaborations, as well as capacity-building support with the newly-recognised Accredited Entity's Compliance Office. The signed MoU will complement Attijariwafa Bank's Accreditation Master Agreement (AMA), which is currently under negotiation.

IIU is continuously working on its goal of establishing similar agreements with counterpart offices of all Accredited Entities as a means of ensuring the safeguarding of GCF resources.
