To commemorate International Anti-Corruption Day 2022, the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Independent Integrity Unit organised a capacity-building webinar for Accredited Entity personnel to learn the basics of the GCF Integrity Framework.
Participants will be introduced to the integrity policies of GCF that set the standards to maintain the highest level of integrity across its operations and activities. The Integrity Framework also establishes the minimum principles in Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Finance of Terrorism (AML/CFT), defines the specific conduct and practices prohibited by the GCF, and informs on the response of the Fund in case of allegations.
The participants will also get a bird’s eye view of the general principles, protections, and remedies for whistleblowers and witnesses; the obligations of GCF-covered individuals to prevent and respond to sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, and sexual harassment (SEAH) and the processes in Administrative Remedies and Exclusions against counterparties.
